At the big boat marina with "Camarina Royale"

She's a 115' Italian built Benetti, we're currently back on her doing paint work at the water line level aft.

Gunnel faired, sanded, and primed.

Port side wasn't as bad as the starboard, only needed like two rounds of fairing.

Starboard side actually came out looking pretty good. The whole gunnel now needs to be sanded out w/ 400.

Then to paint w/ about 3 coats of snow white awl grip. God dam I can see the water from here 😰

Relaxing after a long few days

there's always eyes 👀 watching.

It's been a few long weeks of work for me, but very lucrative. Relaxing after working all day for ones self, feels much more rewarding and fulfilling. My one larger job, the Wellcarft 36, launches tomorrow hopefully. The new little job, Nebe, cape 28 is a joy and wonder to paint. Small yet rewarding to see her progress. It was while painting her today, I realized i was at that very moment doing something I would and probly do for the rest of my able life. Painting boats! my rate, my time, my way. I'm really glad things went south or at Least in the direction they did... Except for the girl. But that's another story.
